Weeee...!! hahaz...had a sudden feeling to put my testimony here. so weird. so just read laa..it wont harm YOU !!
I was born in a Christian family so I was brought to church (Calvary Baptist) since young by my mother. Being brought up in a single-parent family, I was quite quiet and always kept to myself. I went to a Methodist school [GMPS] and thought of accepting Christ during one of the chapels when I was in primary 2. However at that time, I thought that everything would be the same even if I accepted. So I refused to pray the sinners' prayer and felt short of something in my heart. Until primary 4, I accepted Christ during one of the 'Good News Week' which is also known as REW. I thought that the emptiness in my heart would be gone if I accepted Christ, so I just prayed..=/
After I prayed, there was no difference at all. I was back to my usual self, going to school, praying until I fall asleep on my bed, studying for exams and playing computer.Everything was back to normal. When I was in primary 5, I came to know the Christian Ministry staffs in my school, when I went into their office during recess time. I went in and started talking to them and I stayed back almost every day with a few of my friends to learn guitar from one of the staffs. This is where I started to see God working in my life. It all began with my curiosity to learn the guitar! So every single day I would be in their office with my friend to practice the guitar, even after school. (That is how interested I am in guitars!) I did my homework there and after that, practice the guitar. After a few months, my friend and I were asked to play guitar during chapel, so we played for like the next one year. I began to draw closer to God, went for bible study every week with one of the teachers in school and read the bible everyday. This is how I started to serve God in my school and felt God's presence in my life. During my primary 6 life, I learned how to share Christ with the people around me through the REW too. As I was in the bible study group with quite a number of my friends, we were told to use a small booklet -ONE WAY (like the size of your palms) to share Christ with the younger ones who raised up their hands during the REW. So we shared with quite a number of them…and from then on, I knew how to share Christ with people and started telling my classmates about Him and a few of them accepted Christ in class! =0
In the beginning of 2005, when I went into GMSS, I was asked to play the keyboard during chapel as there was another guitarist. So I played. We started with a keyboardist and a guitarist. Then after that, a few more people joined us in serving God during chapel as back-up singers and drummers. Now we got a whole group of us (like 8 of us) helping out in the chapel services. We were told to go for a camp in June (WAM) and it was so inspirational. We learned more about the true meaning of worship. It is not only the singing of songs but offering our lives and learn more about His word. So just take your time while worshipping the Lord and not rush through everything. Be humble when you are on stage because God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble. All the things that I learned in this camp really brought me closer to God and know Him better. I suddenly realized that the emptiness that was in my heart before I knew Him was gone…and was never back again. I felt the assurance that I would have eternal life with Him! =D
Then there was this volunteer (who was once from our school) came back to help the Christian Ministry staffs. This guy is quite weird, always asking us whether we love him or not. Subsequently, he explained to us that he is quite insecure so we just sort of like ignore him when he asks us. Then a few of my friends could not stand his character and avoided him for more than two weeks. In order not to let their relationships get strained just because of a weird character, I decided to try to convince them that different people are created differently according to God's purpose and we just have to accept them as who they are, but they always ignored me when I went into this topic. I tried talking to them a few times but the words did not go into their minds, so I was so troubled at that time and wanted to just give up and treat it as it was not my business. For the next few days, I prayed and asked God for help and I stopped talking to my friends about this matter. As I prayed each day, I regained my hope in Him and was encouraged to ask my friends just one more time. I went to school the next day and asked them again, and they told me they had accepted him for who he is. I was SO overjoyed and thanked God for making this miracle. I was convinced that miracles do happen even in this century where many people are only busy with their work. You just have to pray about it and ask God for His power to strengthen you. Even when your prayers have yet to be answered, don't lose heart...just have faith in Him that He will provide a way out for you =)
I've decided to take this step of baptism because nothing can stop me from getting baptized so I just want to take this step of obedience and tell the world that He lives again. I really thank God for being always with me and not forsaking me, encouraging me when I feel like giving up, comforting me, for preparing my way in life, being the light that guides me to the correct path and for the great friends and people around me that He has blessed me with. All I need is You..Thank You God... :D

weeee !! today went back to primary school with tania to help out in the inter-class soccer...in the end sit under the big, hot sun and rot. No laa ! hahah was helping out in the taking of videos of the soccer matches..den after that went to joyce's house to rest..hahahz.. den went down to play badminton.. den tania and joyce were like turning in rounds after they played until sian. den they asked me to try so i tried laa..i tried two times..the first time was of course fun la..den the second time i was like VERY giddy..den i fall to the ground with my poor knee landing first..den my elbow was like scratched la..with a big patch of skin peeled off..pain man ):
den after that cried for dunno how many times..like 4? hahaz..cry until my eyes very dry..sigh..

watched the whole afternoon...of coz after my important things..den at night..scanned through psalms and proverbs...just to find one verse..sigh..its so difficult..guess i haven been reading my bible everyday..im sorry God..
Lord, help those who would be taking their o's in a few days time tat they will be ready to take the exams. Help them to know that You are in charge of everything and no matter what are the results, everything happens for a purpose that You've planned. help them to have peace and calmness in their hearts and be still and know that You are God..Amen !
